Hi, I’m Travis Dennis I started Mountain Vista Tax & Ledger because I enjoy helping people make sense of taxes, bookkeeping, and the paperwork that can make running a small business feel overwhelming. Tax return preparation — Preparation and filing of individual tax returns, including self-employed returns and all related forms.

Tax planning — Guidance to help reduce surprises and stay ahead of taxes during the year. Formulating strategies to minimize your tax burden.

Past taxes — Help with prior-year returns that still need to be filed, including claiming tax refunds from up to 3 years prior.

Amended returns — Corrections to returns that were already filed. 

Extensions — Filing for extra time to submit your return. 

Estimated taxes — Calculation of quarterly estimated tax payments for self-employed individuals and small businesses. 

Bookkeeping — Ongoing recording and organization of income and expenses. 

Expense tracking — Tracking and properly categorizing expenses within QuickBooks throughout the year.

Depreciation schedules — Keeping schedules of all depreciable assets to be claimed at the end of the year.

Bookkeeping clean-up — Catch-up and correction of messy or incomplete books.
